Esperanza does not understand her son, the filmmaker, who wants her to help him film their house all the time. Why does he select certain frames and angles? What is interesting about a wall or a piece of sky? What she doesn’t know is that her son has already decided to make a movie out of these images in an attempt to escape the pitfalls of traditional filmmaking. That he is making a film about their house, about her, and, ultimately, about their relationship.
